Care in Kent has an opportunity for a talented Registered Manager for Homecare and Community Support Agency in Ashford. £30,000 to £35,000 p/a
Care in Kent are based in Ashford Kent and looking for a Registered Care Manager who will be responsible for market development and leading day to day operations and the growth of the business with a view to becoming the best home care provider in the area. In return, you’ll earn annual salary of up to £35,000 per year including additional performance related bonuses and you’ll be offered full training and support.
You will work closely with the CEO, Finance Manager, Training Manager, Field Care Supervisors, Care Coordinators, Business Administration Support officer and our care teams.
You’ll need to be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of our clients and situations and most importantly you’ll want to put our clients at the heart of everything you do.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will need to have the following skills:
-Excellent understanding and experience of the social care sector
-Excellent knowledge of regulatory responsibilities
-NVQ L5 (or willing to working towards) or equivalent
-Great communication skills“ verbal, written and electronic skills because we do talk a lot to our clients and care staff.
-You will need excellent management and people skills with an ability to manage your own time.
-It would be really good if you have experience of recruiting staff
-You’ll need a clear enhanced police check relevant to country of residence
Qualifications and Skills
Ideally you’ll have experience of running a Homecare service alongside strong leadership and management qualities which are really essential.
Hold, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care
Must have experience in a management position within the Health and Social Care Sector
Understanding of CQC assessment criteria
Must hold a current British driving licence and have own vehicle
